Tonight’s story, imagined with your child

They pick their heroes, their world and their adventure from pictures. A few minutes later: a personalised picture book of 16 to 20 pages, to read on a tablet, to listen to with a narrator, to print as a PDF.

They choose their heroes and adventure in pictures. A few minutes later, their illustrated book is ready: to read, to listen to, to print.

  • The first book is free, no card needed
  • A gentle narrator and sound effects, if your child wishes
  • No photo of your child, no profile: only a first name, and that is optional

A real book, created with AI-Koma Kids

“The Missing Star” was created for Mia, aged 6-8, with Lila, Tilt. Text, illustrations and voice generated by artificial intelligence, with no retouching: this is exactly what you will get.

Ting-ting! Every morning, Lila rang the little bell by her door and listened to its music drift across the sky. “Quick as a cloud!” she called, skipping after the sound.
Tilt rolled up with his toolbox. “Let's try a louder tap!” he said, but his tiny hammer made a squeak instead. Lila grinned. “Did you hear that, Mia?”

How it works

Four steps, a few taps. Your child chooses with pictures: no reading needed.

  1. Their age

You set the age group: vocabulary, length and suspense adapt.

  2. Their heroes

A main hero and, if they like, one or two companions.

  3. Their adventure

A world, an adventure, a mood and, if they like, a theme to learn: everything is chosen in pictures.

  4. Their book

The story and its illustrations are created in a few minutes, then stored in your library.

Made for parents

  1. A real moment together

Your child chooses, you read. The book carries their first name and the value you want to pass on: sharing, courage, friendship…

  2. Stories to learn gently

If they like, your child picks a theme for their age (counting to 5, colours, feelings, telling the time, the solar system…): it slips into the adventure, never as a lesson.

  3. Never the same story

Eight worlds, eight adventures, six moods and a twist drawn at random: two books with the same choices never tell the same story.

  4. Peace of mind

No photo of your child, no profile, no advertising. Every text goes through moderation suited to children before being illustrated.

Choosing the characters

Twenty original characters, drawn for AI-Koma Kids: a brave bear, a cheeky fox, a wise owl, a little dragon, an adventurous robot, a dreamy baby whale… and four young heroes ready for any adventure.

  • Bruno

A gentle bear who always finds the courage to help his friends.

  • Lila

A cheeky fox who always has an idea (sometimes two).

  • Pistachio

A little dinosaur who dreams of being big… and already has a very big heart.

  • Whiskers

A curious cat who wants to see, sniff and understand everything.

  • Tilt

An inventor rabbit, always with a wrench in his pocket.

  • Ember

A friendly dragon who blows smoke bubbles instead of fire.

  • Pearl

A magical unicorn whose horn glows when someone needs help.

  • Bolt

A little adventurer robot who learns every day what friendship means.

  • Noah

An energetic boy, always ready for a new exploration.

  • Jade

A curious, determined girl who writes everything in her adventure notebook.

  • Olive

A wise owl who knows a story for every star.

  • Capucine

A shy little hedgehog who never lets go of an idea.

  • Marin

A dreamy baby whale who sings when he is happy.

  • Zig

A chameleon who changes colour with his mood.

  • Plume

A penguin clumsy on the ice but a champion at sliding.

  • Pippin

A greedy squirrel who hides hazelnuts everywhere, even in his pockets.

  • Nino

A little mouse musician who takes his ukulele everywhere.

  • Luna

A black cat who loves starry nights and secrets.

  • Sacha

A dreamy boy who draws everything he sees in his notebook.

  • Aisha

A sporty girl with braids, always first to the top.

Bring their cuddly toys to life

A photo of their favourite cuddly toy, a name, and there it is, the hero of its own stories: same hat, same colours, from one book to the next.

Photo of a teddy bear comforter in pink and blue pyjamas with a pointed green hat, lying on a bed.
Before a simple photo, taken on the bed
The same toy, illustrated, arms raised with joy on a stone in the middle of a stream.
After crossing the stream
The same toy, illustrated, sitting in the grass under the moon, surrounded by fireflies.
then dreaming under the moon
  1. You photograph the toy, never the child.
  2. You give it a name.
  3. It joins the characters, just for your family, and comes back in every new story.

Turn their cuddly toy into a character

Real images from a first trial: a phone photo, then two pages drawn by artificial intelligence, with no retouching.

Imagining the adventure

Eight worlds, from the enchanted forest to the ice field, by way of the jungle, space or the cloud kingdom. Eight adventures: a treasure hunt, a surprise party, a big race, a journey… And six moods, from the funniest to the gentlest.

No free-text box for the child: every choice is a picture. The parent can add the child’s first name and a value to pass on (sharing, courage, friendship…).

  • Outer space
  • Under the sea
  • The magic castle
  • The jungle
  • The ice field

What we do not do

  • No photo of your child, no date of birth, no address: only an age group and an optional first name.
  • No advertising, no selling of data, no public sharing of the books.
  • No free text and no chatbot: your child chooses from pictures, and every story goes through child-appropriate moderation.
  • Nothing hidden: every book says it is generated by artificial intelligence.

Frequently asked questions

Does my child need to be able to read?

No. Every choice is made with pictures. The parent sets the age and can add a first name. A narrator can also read the book aloud.

Is the first book really free?

Yes: when you open your account, you create a complete book without paying and without a card. After that, a subscription lets you create 5 or 10 a month.

What happens to my child’s first name?

It is optional. It is only used to write and read the story, and stays in your private library. It is never sent to an audience measurement tool.

Can I add my child’s cuddly toy?

Yes. When choosing the heroes, photograph their cuddly toy (on its own, with no person) and give it a name: it is drawn in the style of the books and becomes a private character, reusable in all your books. The photo is not kept.

Does my child learn something?

If you wish. After the adventure, the child can pick a theme for their age: counting to 5, colours, feelings, telling the time, the water cycle, the solar system… The theme drives at least three pages of the story, and the second-to-last page brings it back as a game, never as a lesson.

Are the books public?

No. Your books are private: only your account can open them. No automatic sharing, no child profile.

How are the stories and illustrations created?

By artificial intelligence, from original characters prepared in advance to stay recognisable from one page to the next. Every book says so, and every text goes through child-appropriate moderation before it is illustrated.

What if the creation fails?

A book is only counted once it is finished. If it fails for good, your book is automatically returned to you.

Can I keep my books?

Yes: every book downloads as a PDF that is yours to keep. Online, the free book and your subscription books stay while the subscription is active, then 30 days after it ends; without a subscription, the free book stays 30 days after the account is opened. Books bought individually stay for good.

Can I cancel the subscription?

Yes, at any time from your account, with no commitment. It stays active until the end of the paid month.
